This new work play is controversial because of the intense language and in your face dialogue written within it. The title itself is an eye opener. There were intense scenes depicting gang violence and gang life.

This production was an existentialist retelling and combination of various plays. There were lines of Beckett and various other playwrights being thrown around. The piece contained a ton of movement, dance, video, and music. This production combined the elements to achieve a modern spectacle.

This original play by Shiv Subrahmanyam tells the story of a movie director who has a heart attack. The story has many ups and downs. This play is experimental in its approach because there was a ton of unnecessary nudity and open talk of sex coming from an Indian based playwright. This sparked some controversy from people. This play by Paul Rudnick is a retelling of the bible from a gay perspective. It was produced by the city theatre in Austin and provides a a view of religion from a gay perspective. This play is a farce. Antics within the play included an uncircumcised penis, man on man action, and statements that were against organized religion. This was a controversial play for even the city of Austin. The company was asked to shut it down. There was a huge movement of protest against this play in Austin.

This is an on going production where people are fed the last meals of Texas Death Row inmates. There isn't a script. There is just food. The people eat the food given to them to feel what it was like in a persons last moments. The participants are under surveillance with cameras attached to an outside art gallery. This allows the audience to see their reactions through a screen.

There was an interesting twist with this production. Each line in the show had two translations. There was an english translation that was spoken and also a Gorilla translation spoken. The actors spoke both the language of the primates and the language of humans

This production is set in a single room where all of the action took place. The story revolves around a man trying to get a confession from another man. The story is intense and simple. This piece incorporated a minimalist style to move the play. Yet, there is a huge audio element to the show. The sounds of the show helped establish most of the world of the play. The climax of the story happens when a BIG explosion is heard. The director wanted the audience to feel the sound. The designer designed sounds that were very intrusive to the ear.

It is based on the true story of the siege of Ruby Ridge in 1992. The storys underlying principal is that media is manipulated by government. It was decided the show would be completely in the dark this allowed for the audience member to feel what truly happened rather than what the media said.
